Trevor Bauer (Yokohama DeNA), who has entered the Japanese professional baseball league, has finally joined the first team training. The schedule before his debut has been revealed.

Daily Sports, a Japanese media outlet, reported on the 26th, “Trevor Bauer first participated in first-team training at Yokohada Stadium on the 25th.

Bauer had a meeting with manager Daisuke Miura at the Yokohama club office on the 24th. Bauer said there was “no problem” with his recent fitness, and he participated in training with the first-team squad. Daily Sports reported that “he participated in training to communicate with first-team players.”

Bauer’s future appearances and first-team debut schedule were also revealed. The media said, “Bauer will appear in the Eastern League Lotte 2nd team match on the 28th, and prepare for his first team debut in the home game against Hiroshima on May 4th.”

Bauer, who won 83 major league wins and won the Cy Young Award, signed a one-year, $4 million contract with Yokohama in March.

In July 2021, when he was a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers, he was sued for sexual assault and received an administrative break from the Major League Secretariat. Later, in April 2022, the Major League Secretariat issued a 324-game suspension to Bauer.

Bauer, who took a break from the entire 2022 season, appealed the disciplinary action of the secretariat, and the disciplinary action was eased with a suspension of 194 games in December last year. However, the Dodgers notified Bauer’s release in January, paying the remaining $22.5 million in annual salary. Later, when all 30 major league clubs turned away, Bauer advanced to Japan. 토토사이트
