Busan wins 3 straight over Seoul Eland, jumps to 1st place…Jeonnam wins 2nd straight over Gimcheon

Busan I-Park continues its three-game winning streak and sits atop the standings.

The Busan club defeated Seoul Eland FC 2-1 in the 16th round of the Hana OneQ K League 2 2023 on Thursday at Mokdong Sports Complex. Busan, which has won three straight games, added three more points to accumulate 29 points and move into first place, ahead of FC Anyang (28 points).

Seoul Eland, on the other hand, stayed put with 20 points (6 wins, 2 draws and 6 losses).

Busan took the lead through Kim Chan’s first goal. In the 37th minute, Eo Jung-won’s cross was met by Kim Chan with a diving header, and the once-bound ball found the corner of the near post.

Busan added another goal. In the 23rd minute, Choi Gun-ju rattled the net with a right-footed turnover. In the match between Jeonnam Dragons and Gimcheon Commerce at the Gwangyang Football Stadium, Jeonnam extended its winning streak to two games with Valdivia’s first goal in the 34th minute.
