“It has been a great honor to lead United from the day I took over the captaincy three and a half years ago. It has been one of the proudest moments of my career so far. I consider it one of the greatest honors in club football. “I will always be grateful to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for entrusting me with the captaincy and I wish whoever takes over the captaincy now every success, 안전놀이터 and I will support them wholeheartedly.”
Maguire lost his place in the team under Tenakh last season as he favored a combination of Rafael Varane and Lysandro Martinez at center back, and after starting just eight league games, he lost the captain’s armband for the new season.British newspapers such as the Daily Mail claimed United were willing to make a £40 million offer for Maguire, suggesting a move to West Ham could be on the cards after the sale of Declan Rice to Arsenal boosted their cash reserves.
